The Patton Research Group operates in the School of Polymer Science and Engineering at The University of Southern Mississippi. We combine organic synthesis, a broad range of polymerization methods, and materials characterization to design advanced polymer networks with controlled performance and lifetimes. Our current research emphasizes degradable thermosets, reprocessable polymer networks, and functional polymer materials.
